The Firm specialises in restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings. Two members of the Firm hold licences and are entered on the list of restructuring advisers maintained by the President of the Regional Court in Warsaw, which enables them to act as:
The Firm has experience representing debtors, including by filing bankruptcy petitions — also in consumer bankruptcy cases — or applications to open restructuring proceedings, and by representing debtors throughout the subsequent stages of those proceedings. The Firm has, among other matters, represented partners of a civil-law partnership in remedial proceedings in which an arrangement with creditors was voted on and approved on terms favourable to the debtors.
The Firm also represents creditors, including by filing claims, objections and applications to discontinue restructuring proceedings where those proceedings are aimed at prejudicing creditors.
The Firm handles bankruptcy proceedings commenced under the legislation in force from 1 January 2016 — the Bankruptcy Law and Restructuring Law — as well as proceedings governed by the legislation applicable until 31 December 2015 — the former Bankruptcy and Reorganisation Law.
